We received a warm welcome from the Tanaka's who run this well kept and charismatic golf course which has plenty of history. At just a shade over 6,000 yards from the regular tees, the course is not particularly long, however, its main defense is the rough and steep banks that hold up the ball, making for a tough second shot. When the course was built in the 70s a kind of monorail carried clubs and golfers around and this is still in evidence as a curiosity though it has been replaced by modern carts. Other unique features are the nostalgic memorials to the many holes-in-one and an unlikely Abertross on the par-four 14th.
