This club is a class act, but without the aloofness that sometimes entails. Famed for having LPGA superstar Michelle Wie visit for the 2006 Casio open and having very undulating greens, the general consensus that the 'Taiheiyo' course is the best, with unparalleled sea views and an accompanying and very welcome breeze. At around 6,500 yards from the regular tees, both courses are a little longer than normal in Japan, but the fairways are generous, so a fair challenge. The signature island green 12th is a gem, when we visited a lifetime supply of Yuzu juice was the prize for a hole-in-one! I wonder if Michelle Wie got it?!
