Located close to Narita airport, this course takes roughly 1hr 20 min from central Tokyo. It’s a classic parkland course for the Chiba area with automatic carts. The layout is nice but the course is not long so best to play from the blue tees.

COURSE DESIGN & LAYOUT (3.9 OUT OF 5)
A J. Michael Poellot design, perhaps more well known for the nearby Caledonian golf club which plays host to a senior PGA tour event, and for his work with Trent Jones designs, this is a casual kind of course with a fun layout, not too long, but entertaining for all levels of golfer. It is generally a flat course, a few dog legs, with most fairways quite generous in width. It is recommended to play from the blues allowing more drivers off the tee. The greens are large and usually two-tiered so some pin placements can be tricky,
FACILITIES & SERVICES (4.2 OUT OF 5)
The clubhouse is smaller when compared to others in the area, but well appointed. The dressing rooms and baths are spacious and a pro shop on the first floor is well stocked. On the second floor the restaurant, member’s lounge and competition rooms all overlook the course and there are plenty of attentive staff to make your experience memorable.
The driving range is large with 20 stalls and about 250 yards. There is also a large practice green and chipping area. There website is in English but I didn’t meet anyone who could speak English when we visited.
FOOD & BEVERAGE (4 OUT OF 5)
The food here is quite good, breakfast consists of a Japanese or western set (eggs, toast, coffee) for about ¥1,300. Lunch options range between ¥1,300-¥2,000 and consist of staples like katsu set(pork cutlet) Katsu and curry, noodles, salmon and rice, steak and rice and they even have a pretty good pastrami sandwich. Due to covid, alcohol was off the menu but normally they would have a full bar to enjoy also.
VALUE FOR MONEY (4.1 OUT OF 5)
For a course that’s literally 10 minutes from Narita airport you can’t go wrong for a play through weekday round (Early bird in August) at just ¥7,800 including tax (not including lunch), I felt it was well worth the price and we had an enjoyable round.
