On April 16th The Jarman International Cup will be held at Eastwood Country Club in Tochigi. The event is in aid of Tokyo English Lifeline and is open to all!
Playfee: The price for the day will be 17,400 yen:
This includes a 3,000 yen donation to the mental health charity TELL or Tokyo English Life Line (which is いのちの電話 for the international community).
The play fee includes green fees, lunch with unlimited beer and an after party (unless Covid makes this impossible to hold).
Your donation will make you a 'TELL Hero' and contributes to TELL retaining their NPO status.
We will be giving your email to TELL so they can register you as a hero and send you a receipt for your contribution.
We ask that you bring 3000 yen in cash to pay at the door (you can contribute more if you choose) and everyone will then check in at the club desk as usual.
Jarman will be sponsoring everyone's lunch and the after party. Please note that JI won't cover alcoholic beverages ordered at the after party.
There is a shuttle bus leaving from Utsunomiya station at 8:20 a.m. on the 16th but pre-registration is required. We will be reaching out to everyone who has signed up for 4/16 (almost 40 players) to check on whether you need the shuttle, etc.
We have some great prizes for the 16th including some delicious Uncle Nearest Whiskey from Marc Fuoti, Coaching sessions from our Headline Sponsor Rob Russell, limited edition Shinkansen hero golf balls from JR East, and gift shop vouchers for winners of the longest drive, near pin, etc. There will be a great prize for the Shin-Peoria winner with the best net score as well as a nice prize for the best gross score of the day. Everyone will also automatically be entered in to the JI virtual cup running through the month to vie for the 100,000 yen cash prize. Basically, a fantastic day awaits!
