| Description: | Fuji Country Club is one of the oldest clubs in the area with a rich history and a strong membership. The club house is the original since it opened in 1958 and the members want it that way...beautiful wood and stone structure that serves its purpose well. Although not long it is always perfectly groomed and manicured to perfection providing a good challenge to anyone's short game! Just a few minutes from Gotemba interchange and the Premium Outlets Mall.

What a treat to play. The first hole starts you off on a fairly wide and forgiving down hill par 4. Long hitters may get stuck behind a huge mature pine tree should they venture left. Count your blessings here as the tee shot on the second hole requires a little more accuracy with a big bank on the right with O.B. and trees waiting on the left on this slight dog-leg right par 4. Try to "club up" on your second shot into the green as there is a slight up-hill and the back side is much more forgiving than the guard bunkers that await in front! Club selection and local knowledge will go along way towards helping you score well on this course.
Although not long in overall yardage there are allot of elevation changes that may catch the unsuspecting golfer by surprise and, on occasion, leave them yards short of the green. Mt. Fuji can be seen from most tees and you will also see the nearby Gotemba Premium Outlet Shops Ferris wheel towering over the first few holes. A great country club atmosphere and the club house will have you feeling as though you've been whisked back to the 60's! So much so that you'll almost expect to see Ben Hogan and Bob Hope lounging around the river rock fireplace, Martinis' in hand, looking perfectly at home! A beautifully kept course that should you be lucky enough to have the opportunity to play.. "take it,"and don't forget to bring your camera!
