More to Be Announced..

Playing impression:The Taiheiyo groups premier course. This is a world class private golf club that is always kept in pristine condition. Great views off each tee with a little thinking required on positioning your ball i.e. there is usually a safe and dangerous side to each hole causing you to constantly consider the risk vs. reward. All the holes are surrounded by mature pine and fur trees that, should you find your self amongst them, usually provide you with a "get out of jail" recovery shot option and a riskier shot allowing you to advance your ball down the course. The greens are fun and challenging and can be quite fast, however, they are also very true so the break you see... is the break you get!

Caddy only play and all the caddies are quite knowledgeable on reading the greens and giving accurate yardages. Designer Kato Shunsuke made good use of the water hazards and the finishing 18th has been modified from its original design in 1977 adding a shallow beach area in front allowing players the option to get wet and play it as it lies "from the pond"! This has made for some pretty exiting tournament finishes over the years and the gallery always loves it when the shoes come off! If you get the opportunity to play here, please take it, "bring extra socks" and at least 50,000yen to cover your play fee and incidentals.
