| Description: | Opened on August 27, 1960 and designed by the fabled Japanese professional golfer Rokuzo Asami, a two-time winner of the Japan Open Golf Tournament, this course is located at the base of Mt. Fuji and provides golf and sightseeing combined. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Mt. Fuji and the Fuji Highlands, this course can be enjoyed by both avid and weekend golfers alike and visitors are more than welcome. There in lies more challenges than visually appear, with relatively flat undulating fairways and greens that can catch you off guard. The front nine has several par 4's that are over 400 yards long, causing most to change their strategy hole by hole. The back nine may appear to be shorter in yardage, but with the narrow mature pine tree lined fairways, you will feel the challenge off the tee on most holes. A memorable round with breathtaking Mt. Fuji views awaits you!
