Getting There

By Air:
Tokushima Awaodori Airport (TKS): The city has its own airport, Tokushima Awaodori Airport, which is well-connected to major cities in Japan. You can fly into Tokushima directly from Tokyo's Haneda Airport or other domestic airports.
 

By Train:
Shinkansen (Bullet Train): Tokushima is not directly served by Shinkansen lines. However, you can take the Shinkansen to Okayama and then transfer to the Marine Liner express train to reach Tokushima. The journey offers scenic views of the Seto Inland Sea.

Renting a car is a convenient option, especially if you want to explore the surrounding areas and beautiful scenery, Tokushima is accessible by major highways that connect it to other cities in Shikoku and beyond
