Windward Hills Country Club (renamed as such from Takayama Golf Club in 1995) is the oldest golf course on Guam. An American-style 18 hole, par 72, public course, it opened in 1951. Designed as a family course, Windward Hills can be enjoyed by singles, couples and beginners in an "at home" atmosphere. A course which follows the natural lie of the land, the out course features relatively easy shot holes, while the in course is more demanding on technique.
