Niseko Golf in association with Golf in Japan announce a World Record golfattempt to be held in Niseko, Hokkaido on July 25th.
Four participants including Dr. Joseph Limoli a former Stanford University golf team member (before Tiger) and golf professional, Bennett Galloway the Director of Sales & Marketing for Golf-in-Japan.com, Jiro Kamiharako a former Japanese Olympic ski jumper, the fourth participant is yet to be announced.
The participants will attempt to make a world record for most holes played on different courses in one day utilizing the many resort golf courses within the Niseko area. Currently the application is being processed by the Guinness World Records to determine conditions of the attempt.
The Accordia Golf operated
Aqualine Golf Club, conveniently located just 60 minutes from central Tokyo, offers international golfers an annual golf pass which entitles to substantial discounts on their green fees and also a free inititation fee (regular price 31,500 yen) for Total Workout Fitness Club located in Shibuya and Roppongi.
The pass also gives other priviledges such as social events, free golf clinic and English assistance.
The annual dues are 126,000 yen for men, 88,200 yen for women and 189,000 yen for couples.

Kids who are accompanied by at least one paying adult (at regular rate) can tee it up for 9 holes for just 1000yen any day of the week including weekends! Adults 9 hole green fees are 4000yen (weekdays) and 5000yen (weekends) * Kids must be 14 years old or younger (junior high school) Please bring some form of I.D. for kids near to 14yrs.
Kids Summer Golf Special (July 20th to Aug 31st )
This summer vacation kids 14 years old or younger can enjoy 18 holes of golf for just 3000yen on weekdays and 8000yen on weekends when accompanied by at least one adult at regular rate.
When you think of Hokkaido it usually first brings up images of pristine powder snow topped mountains and vast flat wide open expanses, but when the snowfields turn to green meadows, golf takes center stage and the people here trade in their boards for sticks.

Friday 28 September: The DaimlerChrysler Cup
The Third Annual North America -Europe Golf Challenge, the DaimlerChrysler Cup is played on Friday 28 September at Atsugi Kokusai C.C.. The Cup has already become the one of most exciting amateur competitions in Japan, fielding 72 players in each team. Although both teams are already almost fully booked, registrations are still accepted.
