On hot summer days you can enjoy watching Para gliders soaring around on the warm updrafts provided by nearby mount Hotaka, Tanigawa and Haruna. Don’t let them distract you though as the greens here are quick and will require your full attention! Getting there is easy and just 1:15 minutes from Tokyo by Shinkansen to Jomo Kogen Station, and if you reserve in advance a club shuttle will be waiting to take you to the course. Date: 2008-11-15 Player: luno Some hole are a little challenging, often playing bilnd makes the course fun. Interesting course, polite staff, good overall quality.
Date: 2008-10-03 Player: ames0038 Nice course in good condition in a serene panoramic setting. Easy access from central Tokyo with club bus to/from clubhouse. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend Gunma CC to anyone needing a relaxing break away from the city.
Date: 2008-09-20 Player: JMac First visit last autumn unfortunately came on a drizzly day, so course condition probably is better than we experienced. Hard to beat the warm, friendly & very accommodating staff; plan to get back there again soon. (Written May 2009)

Nice golfing experience... Played there 2 days in a row and I improved quite a lot as a beginner. Thanks to Willy, my girlfriend and I had high quality time. Plus, it is cheap enough. Go there and check it by yourself!!
