Course was in great condition. Shame that many players fail to repair their pitch marks on the green. Despite a full course, speed a play was just nice. Overall a wonderful golfing experience. Highly recommendable.

the japan open course.. when u walk in the dressing room and look at the past results of the cannon tourny and the winning scores are no better than -8, you can see why. !played this 6-7times now from the tips and the scores can baloooooooooooon so-so easily. a cplof the best holes ive ever played o nthis course. in perfect sondition always, food excellent , caddys excellent, pace good, practise facilities pretty good, bit out of the way, but no real prob. if ur playing badly oh dear! 9-10

Host to the Japan Open. The clubhouse is a bit like Shibuya on a Sat nite, however both courses will hold your attention. Tough but not unfair. I think the East course was designed by Inoue, Seiichi, who also designed Tsurumai in Chiba, Karasuyamajo in Tochigi, both excellent courses. Greens are fast and the speed is rated fairly (beware of those courses that rate green speeds generously, on purpose; they are real turn-offs!).

Played today the East-course. Phantastic course, well trained caddies. Very recommendable, near from Highway

Have played both West and East Courses. I actually think the East Course is more difficult, despite being 500 yards shorter because second shots play uphill to well guarded greens. The resort is built in the middle of a forest, so most of the fairways are densely tree-lined. The weaker holes are offset by very good par 5s and strong finishing holes. Everything about this place is first class, deserves a 5 rating, but expensive at over 20,000 yen. No self-play allowed.

Fantastic course, with narrow fairways and deep rough, but all around not unfair. West course is where they play the tournaments. 17th hole one of the best Ive seen in Japan.

great course! another potential for top 5 in Japan! every part of this course has variety. West course is the best. 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 12th,13th and 17th are fantastic holes !! and they are making the right improvements! all they need to do is cut the tree down in the middle of the 14th fairway
