Absolutely LOVE this course. Lots of risk / reward holes and hilly enough to make club selection a challenge... but the greens are the real joy - super fast with lots of break, some of them raised and pin placement was quite tough the day I played. Really very friendly club - can't recommend them highly enough

High handicappers won't find this the most enjoyable course ever, but for those playing mid 80s and belows it will be a welcome challenge / change from the wide runways that masquerade as fairways in general in the Kanto region. Very unassuming atmosphere

A great course to challenge your skill. This is one of the great courses where you will need to utilize all of your clubs. Very challenging indeed. Must play with members so that you know where to hit. Also, if you can fade the ball, then, you have an advantage. Those who draw the balls, then, this place is a nightmare. Some par 3s are over 200 yards and if you can not hit long iron, then, you will be suffering..... Very nice course indeed.

Must take the same amount of golf balls as your handicap. So challenging. The speed of the green before their club championship was as fast as Augusta, I was told. Very interesting golf course. Must play.

best atmosphere for a clubhouse by far in Japan!! great service, staff and members very friendly. The course, well like previous comments OB everywhere which is a pet hate of mine. I have never been a fan of Muirhead designed courses but this might be the best one he has done in Japan. If you hit the ball more than 250 yards you can leave the driver in the bag, except for the par 5's. The 2nd hole is a shocker, f'way must be no more than 10 yards wide. The 4th is not much better with a dog-leg blind tee-shot. the 17th is clearly the signature hole. very expensive but worth a game

Some memorable holes from elevated tees. Greens could prove very tough. Some blind tee shots make club selection off the tee crucial. B&W's appeal is in the basic nature of the service/food & where you can play through.

Tough and unfair, but still fun. I wonder how many broken clubs they get per day.

For a high handicapper, this course will eat you alive. Provided your swing mechanics are Ok and you keep the ball in the fairway, you will do OK. Of course biggest problem is the Japanes just don't understand how to repair ball marks. No 1-hour requir

Short but very difficult. If you don't hit it straight, whatever your handicap you should bring the same amount of balls!

Nice course. Forget the clubhouse though. Grub a downright shame. Get your snacks at the 7/11 on the way. Not a very welcoming lot but worth the effort.

An unusually difficult layout and very long from the blacks. Challenging drives, tricky approaches to heavily contoured quick greens. A memorable design, but not a course for your lowest round ever.

One of the most challenging courses around in Tokyo. If you are low handicapper, then, must play from the full back. Par 3s are long. Fairways are narrow. Must play with a member so that he/she can guide you the direction. Very interesting course. High handicappers should avoid.
