Comments:Shimoda Country Club is a 18 hole par 72 course. Back tee yardage: 5,919 yards (short), White tee (regular men’s) a silly 5,563 yards, Ladies: TBA *Soft spikes only please on this 2 geen configured course.
This wee hilly course does play longer than the yardage suggests and requires good control to avoid loosing balls. There is a 30yard hitting area with a 24 ball bucket @ 200yen. A nice new Futsul court is available to rent!?!!

Interesting mountain course with great views. Hole No.17 (Par 5) a great opportunity to make an eagle - easily over 300 yard tee-shot thanks to a well rolling downhill fairway. Hot springs just 15 minutes from the course - a perfect place to stay overnigh

Totally enjoyed this country course. Great views (especially the cherry blossoms), quite hilly. The 16th and the 9th are definate on for one par 4s. Look out for the discount days here, cheap with lunch included. Great course!
